Louis Vernon White, 79 of Chester passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in a local hospital. He was a local farmer and of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Ruby (Rice) White; twin sons Eugene and Curtis White and five siblings.

He is survived by three daughters Joyce Skipworth of Branch, Jennifer Kuykendall of Springfield, Missouri and Cleasa McLain and husband Robert of Chester; two sons Louie White and wife Susie of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma and Thomas White and wife Sabetha of Springfield, Missouri; four siblings; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and his sweetheart Mary.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, there will be no formal service at this time.
