Obituary for Dobbie Velosky
Dobbie Velosky, 71, of Fort Smith passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born on March 4, 1950 in Anderson, Indiana to Arthur and Emerine (Elliott) Velosky. He was a retire Kaizen Project Officer at Gerdau of Fort Smith. He was an active member of 1st Church of God in Van Buren, Arkansas. Dobbie had several hobbies including photography, computers and restoring old fountain pens.
Funeral service will be 2:00PM, Monday, May 10, 2021 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith. The family will visit with friends following the funeral service.
He is survived by his wife Brenda of the home; a daughter, Barbara Thompson and her husband Jeff of Fort Smith; three sons, Jason Arnold and his wife Nicole, Andy Velosky and his wife Judy and Elliott Velosky and his wife Samantha all of Fort Smith; a sister, Lonnadene Rosenzweig of Fort Smith; ten grandchildren, Katie Rogers, Allie (Skyler) Mizell, Jacob and Nicholas Arnold; Aiden, Ashton, Bella, Kyndal, Atticus and Runa Velosky and two great grandchildren, Braxton Rogers and Remi Mizell.
