Obituary for Doyle Johns
Doyle Johns 82, of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in a local hospital. He was a retired salesman with Brown Packing Company in Little Rock. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and also attended Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Margie (Irvan) Johns.
He is survived by his wife of sixty three years Mary, of the home; one daughter Judy Deffenbaugh and husband Mike of Van Buren; one son David Johns and wife Deanna of Alma; two sisters Norma Andrews of Goodman, Missouri and Wilma Collins of Fort Smith; four brothers Ed Johns, Frank Johns and DeWayne Johns all of Van Buren and Donald Johns of Moore, Oklahoma; grandson Mark Deffenbaugh and wife Amber of Van Buren and granddaughter Jordan Johns of Alma; three great-grandsons Michael, Joshua, and Taylor Deffenbaugh.
Funeral service will be 10AM, Friday May 7, 2021 graveside at Gracelawn Cemetery Arbor in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
