Obituary for Norma Ruth Jones (Misee)
Norma Ruth (Misee) Jones, 86, of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in Little Rock surrounded by her family.
Norma was a member of Van Buren First Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing volunteer work in the church and around the community. Norma was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and extensively researched family history. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, David. After David retired from AT&T, Norma and David enjoyed many years of camaraderie and fellowship with the Family Campers Group of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Connie Jones Taylor of Raleigh, North Carolina and one son, Eugene Jones and his wife June of Little Rock. She had four grandchildren, Bart Taylor III, Jennifer Taylor Massey, Lindsey Haagenson and Hannah Jones and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 9:00 AM Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
