Obituary for Elmer Leslie Becker Jr.
Elmer Leslie Becker, Jr., 81, of Alma passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at a local nursing home. He was a retired gluer operator at Graphic Packaging, formerly Universal Packaging and an avid fisherman and hunter. Elmer was born July 3, 1939 in St. Louis, MO to the late Elmer, Sr. and Gertrude (Trapp) Becker. He was also preceded in death by his wife, June Becker and a daughter, Beverly Becker.
Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with cremation to follow. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma,
Survivors include daughters, Diana Radcliff and Vida Brown both of Batesville; sons, Tom Thorn of Mountainburg, Vernon Thorn of MO, Russell Becker and wife Lequeta of Alma and John Becker and wife Kristi of NC; sisters, Lorraine Lang of MO and Sharon Slayton and husband Don of IL; brothers, Andy Becker and wife Kathy and John Becker and wife Linda all of IL and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Ocker Chapel of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 E., Alma, AR.
