Obituary for Kenneth Ray Ferrari

Kenneth Ray Ferrari, 86 of Van Buren passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 in a local hospital. H was a retired bus driver from the Van Buren School District; a former employee of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren; an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and he enjoyed fishing. He was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church of God in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his son Donald Ferrari; his parents Joseph and Viola Mae (Newman) Ferrari; seven brothers and sisters; two great granddaughters.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 1, 2021 at New Life Pentecostal Church of God at 3624 E. Pointer Trail, Van Buren. The family will visit with relatives and friends one hour prior to service under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife Darlene (Hall) Ferrari of the home; three daughters Laura Warstler of Fort Smith, Samantha Fillyaw and Angela Leakey both of Van Buren; five sons Kenn Ferrari of Sallisaw, Tony Ferrari and Kenny Leakey both of Alma, Denver Ferrari of Greenwood, Bruce Leakey of Cecil, Arkansas; two sisters Jennie Brush of Sallisaw, Marie Mathis of Van Buren; one brother Bob Ferrari of Wiggins, Mississippi; thirty three grandchildren; fifty three great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Glen Gillett, Gavin Ferrari, Marty Key, Kylie Craig, Drew Fillyaw and Robert Cecil.
