Obituary for Ruth Etta Davis (Maxwell)
Ruth Maxwell Davis, 83 of Van Buren passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 in a local hospital. She was retired from Baldor in Fort Smith and of the Freewill Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening and fishing, canning as well as many other outdoor activities. She was a people greeter at Wal-Mart in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by husband Leon Davis, parents, two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by one daughter Dian Willis and husband Bill of Van Buren; three sisters Lois Hill and Floy Jordan both of Fort Smith, and Shirley Perkins of Anaheim, California; two grandchildren Dustin Willis of Van Buren and Nikki Barber of Cedarville; eleven great-granchildren; five great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. There will be no formal service at this time.
