Max Riley Roberts, 66, of Roland, Oklahoma passed away in his home with his family by his side on Monday, March 8, 2021. He was born on June 13, 1954 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Herbert R. and Patsy (Tidwell) Roberts. He was in sales his whole career including the sales of insurance and securities. He was a member of Northside Church of Christ in Alma and while living in Texas he was a volunteer for the local Boys Club. Max was an avid golfer, he loved the game and played since he was a young boy, he went to college on a golf scholarship.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM, Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, DeAnna of the home; three daughters, Brooke Alder of Fort Smith, Jessica Bates and her husband Brian of Muldrow, OK and Nicole Nichols of Roland, OK; a son, Rex Roberts of Fayetteville, AR; a cousin, Mark Spradling of Duncan, OK and a sister, Cindy Osborn of Alma, AR and eight grandchildren, Ashton, Ethan, Grayson, Journey, Bayley, Blake, Brindley and Ella.
Cremation and services are under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR.
