Obituary for Sara Jo Medlock (Weaver)
Sara Jo Medlock, 87, of Dyer passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at her home. She was a homemaker, loved her family, loved to bowl and a member of Eastern Star. Sara Jo was born October 10, 1933 in Dyer to the late Alvis and Nora (Smith) Weaver. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Medlock; sisters, Ruby Whitlock and Marie Crocker and brother, A.G. Weaver.
Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Dyer Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The service will be livestreamed on the Ocker-Putman Facebook page.
Survivors include daughters, Gilda Sharp and Husband Dean of Alma and Roxanne Shores and husband Ricky of Fort Smith; sons, Michael Medlock and wife Angie of Mulberry, Toby Medlock and wife Melinda of Alma, Todd Medlock and wife Carole of Dyer and Rusty Cagle of Ozark and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Ocker Chapel of Alma, 917 Hwy 64 E., Alma, AR.
Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Sharp, Travis Sharp, Jake Sharp, TJ Shores, Jared Medlock, Landon Medlock and Ryan Medlock.
