Following a brief illness, Reba Morse, born January 6, 1939, passed peacefully to her heavenly home on the morning of February 28, 2021. She was surrounded by her loved ones, and her last words were, "I see an angel!"
She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Carolyn, in 2012, and her husband, Odell Morse, of 57 years in 2014.
Reba's biggest joy in life was caring for her family. Her children were everything to her. Her joy was to cook big meals for her family and to sit around the table for a visit. She loved watching cardinals from her window. She will be forever remembered for her unselfish heart, generosity, and a sweet smile and crystal blue eyes that welcomed all to her table. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Ocker Chapel with interment in Pope Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The service will be livestreamed at our Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Facebook page.
Reba is survived by a very loving family that includes three sons, Christopher “Chris” Scott Morse and wife Missy of Kibler, Gary Ray Morse of Kingston, TN and Charles Dale Morse and one daughter Diane Burkhart and husband Gary of Rudy; nine grandchildren, Kristen Lasiter, Joshua Rice, Kelli Ford, Carla Arnold, Jason Morse, Lance and Hunter Burkhart, Heather Morse and Stetson Morse and eleven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Gene, Lance and Hunter Burkhart, Joshua Rice, Stetson and Jason Morse.
The family will visit with friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
