Obituary for Gerald "Jerry" Othell Summers Jr.
Gerald “Jerry” O. Summers, Jr., 68, of Alma, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 in his home. He was owner of Summers Trucking for many years. He loved playing poker and loved spending time with his family. He was born October 21, 1952 in Mulberry, AR to the late Gerald and Florine (Kimes) Summers.
Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Simmons Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The service will be livestreamed on the Ocker-Putman Facebook page.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Summers of the home; daughters, Annette Summers and Amanda Lester and husband Justin all of Alma, AR; stepson, Cody Homes and wife Brianna of Ozark, AR; step daughters, Kara Robinson and husband Brian and Lacy Williams and husband Clay all of Alma; sister, Sharon Humphrey; brother, Frankie Summers; 2 grandsons, Brycen and Gavyn Lester and 7 step grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Tuesday evening, March 2, 2021 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
