Sandra Kaye Overstreet, 71, of Arkoma, Oklahoma passed away on February 26, 2021 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born on October 19, 1949 in Fort Smith to Henry and Virginia Mae (Martin) Darden. She was a retired nurse at Sparks Regional Medical Center and a member of Arkoma First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John “Bob” Overstreet, her parents, a sister Shirley Cox and a brother, Donald Darden.
Funeral services are 10:00AM, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith with burial to follow at the U.S. National Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Jonathan Michael Overstreet and his wife Sheri of Bella Vista, AR and Anthony Donald Overstreet of Pocola. OK; a sister, Donna Wheeler of Arkoma, OK; nine grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 3-7PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Hunter Overstreet, Cody Roadhouse, Keith Wheeler, Rick King, Eddie Freeman and Jason Shackleford.
Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Wheeler and Jeff, David and Philip Shackleford.
