Rowland Eric Settle, 66, of Fort Smith passed away on Monday February 22, 2021 in Fort Smith. Eric was born on July 26, 1954 in California to Rowland and Anna (Hoen) Settle. He was a valued employee of Fort Smith Movie Lounge and more recently the Homewood Suites by Hilton. He was a brilliant man, a gifted writer and a longtime member of Goddard United Methodist Church where he loved singing in the choir. Eric served in the Navy Reserve while living in California. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Settle.
He is survived by his sister-In-law, Chrystal Settle and one niece Grace Ann Settle both of Fort Smith.
Memorial service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith with private burial of cremains in Houston Cemetery in Alix following the service.
