Obituary for Jennings Louis "J.L." Wright
Jennings Louis “JL” Wright, 69, of Rudy, AR passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in a local nursing home. He was a former truck driver, known as “Snake”, a road grader operator for Crawford County and a member of Fine Springs Masonic Lodge. JL was born August 1, 1951 in Mulberry, AR to the late William Louis and Abby (Scantlin) Wright.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 22, 2021 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in New Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home. The services will be livestreamed on the Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Facebook page.
Survivors include a son, Richard Wright and wife Melany of Rudy, AR; grandsons, Grayson and James Wright; sisters, Mary Elkins, Wilma Jones and Sandy Robb; brother, Billy Wright and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be Wyatt Jones, Keith Alderson, Jeremy Kizer, Barry Moore, Derek Overbey and Ronald Walls
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Milsap, Bobby Walls, Jimmy Moore and Jack Parrish.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, February 21, 2021 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
