Abigail “Abby” Smith, 60, of Fort Smith, Arkansas went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 21, 2021 in a local hospital. She was born on July 27, 1960 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Raymond and Clara (Coleman) Soap. She was a housekeeper at Methodist Nursing Home and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Nathan Soap.
Funeral service is 11:00AM, Wednesday, January 27, 2021at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Bellefonte Cemetery in Sequoyah County.
She is survived by her husband Randy of the home; a daughter, Rebecca Jensen and her partner, Kendra Iribarren of West Fork, AR; two sons, Nathan and Brandon Smith both of Fort Smith and four sisters, Norene Gramlich and her husband Frank of Fort Smith. Willie Chism and her husband Steve of Van Buren, AR, Cordia Koonce and her husband Johnny of Muldrow, OK and Deborah Rogers of Oklahoma City, OK and nieces and nephews, Jimmy and Johnny Townsend, Regina and Raymond Koonce and Micaela and Marissa Rogers.
Viewing will be Tuesday from 3-7pm at the funeral home.
