Geri Reeves, 84 of Fort Smith, AR was welcomed by her Lord and Savior on Sunday January 17th, 2021 with her children by her side.

She was born July 18, 1936 in Sandusky, MI to Percy and Eva (Clark) Lowe.

Her working career was in accounting. She retired from Arkansas Best Corporation where she extended her family with many wonderful friends that cherished her friendship. She graduated from High School in Jasper, AR where she met her husband and her dearest life-long friends. Her favorite job on this earth was being a wife, mother, sister and daughter. Her loving and caring spirit led her to provide comfort and care to all those that have gone before her as did her children for her during her final earthly days. Her example of Christian womanhood was an example to all.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack K. Reeves of 56 yrs., parents, Eva and Percy Lowe, brothers William and Ralph.

She is survived by children Michael K. Reeves (Beverly), Linda Reeves Hobbs of Fort Smith, grandchildren Justin Hobbs (Pocola, OK), Rebecca Reeves (Dallas, TX), Molly Reeves (Fort Smith), and Hunter Robinson (Hot Springs) and Gini Sessions (Alma, AR) by marriage. She had 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday January 22, 2021 at Ocker Funeral Home in Alma, AR at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith.

We were both sad to learn of Geri's passing. Both of us have wonderful memories of Geri from being members together at Midland Heights United Methodist Church. Geri was a kind, gracious and giving person. May your memories of her bring you comfort and peace. You are all in our prayers.

I didn't know Geri very long but she was one of the sweetest people I have ever had the honor of knowing. She will be Greatly Missed!!!
I was Blessed to be one of her Caregivers for a short time. She always had a smile on her face and joy in her heart. She always talked about her family with such Love . Rest in Peace Sweet, Sweet Lady .
Prayers for her Family and Friends
