Obituary for Roger Cooley
Roger D. Cooley, 87, of Van Buren passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at a local hospital. He was a carpenter. Roger was born June 3, 1933 in St. Louis, MI to the late Hiram and Ester (Shelton) Cooley. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth Ann Cooley and a daughter, Julie Cooley.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with interment at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Survivors include daughters, Kathy Goschke and husband Carl of MI and Kelly Cooley of Fort Smith; sons, Shannon Cooley and wife Susie, Martin Cooley and wife Kim, Roger Cooley II and wife Lesa and Anthony Cooley and wife Shannon all of Van Buren, Jeff Cooley of MI and Charley Cooley and wife Luz of AZ; 22 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and sisters, Delores Baxter of FL and Phyllis Love, Nina Gardner and Naomi Perry all of MI.
Pallbearers will be his sons.
