Obituary for Heidi Noelle Nerenberg

Heidi Noelle Nerenberg, age 39, passed away peacefully January 11, 2021, where she battled and fought lupus and renal failure for 26 years, since the age of 13.
She was the definition of strength and courage and a true warrior! Heidi was a spit fire from the beginning. Every person who knew her, knew her love for others and animals, especially her dogs. She made an impact with her kindness and humor. During her years of dialysis, she took snacks and goodies to the other dialysis patients and her van drivers. She had a heart of gold. God truly gave her a gift of giving. She loved her nieces and nephews and told them often. Before her illness she enjoyed competing in gymnastics. She loved riding horses, drawing, poetry and catching frogs and lizards.
Heidi was born December 15, 1981 and adopted two days later by her parents John and Bobby Nerenberg. She is survived by her parents; Her eldest brother Shane and wife Jenny Nerenberg and their four children, Shane and his wife Dominique, Ryan and his wife Kaitlyn, Caleb and Chase. Brother Shawn and wife Jenny and their three children Hunter, Seth and Garrett. Brother Chad and wife Kelly and their two children Leah and Ella. Sister Jessica Hogan and husband Kendall and their four children Hunter and wife Kaitlyn, Hayley, Ethan and Zöe. She also has two great nieces Westland and Brooklyn.
Our family is celebrating her journey home to be with the Lord and her new heavenly body, suffering and pain-free. We look forward to seeing her again.
Service will be held at a later date. The service will be livestreamed on the Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Facebook page.
Memorial donations may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, in Van Buren, Arkansas, where she was a member and worshipped the Lord since she was 14 years old.
The family would like to thank the medical staff and caregivers for all the love and kindness shown to Heidi.
