Obituary for Beatrice "Bea" Abbott (Worley)
Beatrice “Bea” Abbott, 92, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. She was born on January 9, 1929 in Tuhni, Georgia to M.T. and Fannie R. (Prince) Worley. She was the former co-owner of Frontier Auto Sales and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her daughter, JoAnn DeHart, a grandson, Joseph Schoening, Sr. and a great grandson, Joseph Schoening, Jr.
Funeral service is 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with private burial to follow.
Mrs. Abbott may be viewed from 1-5PM on Friday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Earl W. “Woodie” Abbott; four grandchildren, David Schoening of Van Buren, Diana Kulak and her husband Mark of Cedarville, AR, Pamela Vaughn of Van Buren and Sandra Murphy and her husband Kenneth of Cedarville, AR; a son in law, Larry DeHart of Van Buren, AR; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.
