Dewey Darel Morton, 67, of Van Buren passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in a local hospital. He was a rail worker for the railroad, loved gardening and canning, but his wife, children and grandchildren were most important. Dewey was born August 18, 1953 in Colusa, CA to the late Dewey Lester and Bessie Irene (Raines) Morton. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Kay Anderson and a brother, Roger Dale Morton.

Viewing will be from 4:00 until 6:00 PM Monday, January 11, 2021 at Ocker Chapel of Van Buren, 700 Jefferson St.

Survivors include his wife, Pamala of the home; daughter, Tammie Harrell and husband Patrick of Barling; sons Darel Morton and wife Brittany of Barling and Dewey E. Morton of Van Buren; sister, Dorothy Carr of Pryor, OK: grandchildren, Dalton, Sophie, Tyler, Shyann, Mason, Darel Dean, Garrett, Elizabeth and Grayson and great-grandchildren, Maggie, Teagun and Lakeleigh.
