Obituary for William "Bill" Armstrong Robertson

William “Bill” Armstrong Robertson, 90, of Pocola, OK passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in his home. He was born on August 29, 1930 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Ben Harrison and Katie Pearl (Beaty) Robertson. He retired after 44 years as an electrical technician from Southwestern Bell Telephone. He was a member of Haven Heights Baptist Church, a former Deacon at Cavanaugh Missionary Baptist Church and was the Sunday School Superintendent for 14 years, Bill was proud that he acquired his private pilot’s license. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita and three sisters, Thelma McAdoo, Claudia Stark and Frances Nedderson.
He is survived by two daughters, Susie White and her husband Dick of Greenwood, AR and Patti Burnetti and her husband Dean of Auburndale, FL; two sons, Michael Robertson and his wife Lea of Fayetteville, NC and Ben J. Robertson and his wife Debbie of Pocola, OK; a niece Millie Osburn of Van Buren, AR; eight grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
Viewing is from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021. He will be placed with his wife in the Woodlawn Mausoleum.
