Obituary for Dena Denise Cottrell (Burkhart)
Dena Denise Cottrell, 62, of Dyer, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in her home. She was an accounts payable clerk for USA Truck for 26 years and a member of New Hope Pentecostal Church of God in Rudy. She was born August 16, 1958 in Fort Smith, AR to the late Percy and Betty Jo (Coatney) Burkhart. Dena loved spending time with her grandkids and her church family.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 28, 2020 at New Hope Pentecostal Church of God with interment in Dyer Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The service will be livestreamed on Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Facebook page.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Cottrell of the home; sons, Mark Joseph Cottrell of Prairie Grove, AR and Jon Brent Cottrell and wife Kendra of Alma; grandchildren, Maebry and Beckham Cottrell; sister, Ann English and husband Tommy of Waco, TX and many nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
