Aunt Mary was a kind woman that always had the ‘silver lining’ perspective on everything she encountered. She was a true servant for others; she always placing the needs of others first before being concerned for her own. Her time with us was short but her impacts on lives will be long. I’m happy that I had this lady in my life and she will forever have a place in my heart. ❤️
May those that stop by this site be reminded of their pleasant memories they had with her and continue her ‘silver lining’ perspective.

Aunt Mary was a true delight. One would know she had an allegiance to Christ and was always giving. She watch over me occasionally as a child, and she also watched over my children. Her humor, patience and communication, I will always remember. You taught me that listening was the most important skill when communicating. I will miss you and will never forget you. And the next time I see someone putting salt on their watermelon, in your honor, I will asked them, " Would you like pepper as well?"

Mary was very welcoming to me even before I married her nephew, Daniel. She always had a smile on her face and loved to joke and laugh. I feel fortunate that I was able to meet her and several of her siblings. Rest In Peace Aunt Mary. You will be missed by many.
Love, Tammy Winfrey

I loved my Aunt Mary. She was the laughter of my childhood. One day, while we were working in our garden, she made the comment, "A bucket with a hole is pretty useless". I pondered this statement for a few minutes and then asked, "But what if the hole is at the top of the bucket". Aunt Mary laughed so hard at this serious question (or so I thought). As she laughed, I thought maybe I could be a funny person too. In my teaching, I use so much humor and my students love it. So thank you Aunt Mary for your legacy of laughter. I bet you already have Jesus laughing a lot now!!!
