Obituary for Linda Sue Ashley (Cummins)
Linda Sue Ashley, 75, of Mountainburg, AR passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at a local hospital. She was a homemaker and loved to play bingo and slots. She was born June 5, 1945 in Sayre, OK to the late William “Bill” and Myrtle (Rhodes) Cummins. Linda was also preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Ashley.
Memorial services will be 3:30 PM Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Survivors include two daughters; Sherry Avery and husband Keith of Spiro, OK and Susan Rice and husband Scott of Van Buren, AR; two sons, Travis Ashley and wife Debbie of Sayre, OK and Terry Ashley of Mountainburg, AR; sister-in-law, Pam Cummins of Sentinel, OK; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
