Obituary for Lois Louise Burgess (Williams)
Lois (Williams) Burgess, 91 of Fort Smith passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 in a local nursing home. She was a registered nurse at Sparks Hospital then Holt Krock Clinic in Fort Smith; a graduate of Sparks Nursing School in Fort Smith. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fort Smith and a member of Crusaders Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Burgess; both parents, John Wesley and Cleo (Short) Williams; her daughter, JoDawna Burgess; five brothers.
Graveside service will be at Gracelawn Cemetery Arbor under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.
She is survived by three sons, Stephen Joe Burgess and Mark Burgess and wife, Jan all of Fort Smith, Mike Burgess and wife, Cindy of Edmond, Oklahoma; one sister, Kathryn Graham of Rogers; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Preston Burgess, Taylor Burgess, Weston Burgess, Donovan Burgess, Jonathan Robinson and Jonah Robinson.
