Obituary for Roy Gene Reed
Roy Gene Reed, 78 of Rudy passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 in his home.
He was retired from Baldor Electric Company in Fort Smith. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a native of Muldrow. He is preceded in death by both parents, Arthur and Irene (Osborne) Reed; a brother, William Reed.
Funeral service will be at 12 PM (Noon) Friday, January 31, 2020 at Ocker Memorial Chapel Van Buren with burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith with military honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren
He is survived by his wife, Flaura “Flo” (Gibbs) Reed of the home; one daughter, Angela Schaffer of Washington; four sons, Josh Reed of Cedarville, Roy Reed, Jr., Mark, Tom and John Nelson all of California; one step daughter, Carmen Presley of Little Rock; two step sons, Gerald Presley of Rudy, Gregg Presley of Hot Springs; one sister, Ruby Pearson of Washington State; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
The Family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, January 31, 2020 one hour prior to service.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Presley Sr., Gregg Presley, Gerald Presley, Jr., Bailey Cavert, Jeremy Treat.
