Jerry Lee England, Sr., 70, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020 peacefully at home. He was born on December 15, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Windoll and Fannie (Bower) England. He was retired from the transportation department of ABF and the Rye Hill Volunteer Fire Department. He was an active member of Rye Hill Baptist Church. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judy Willingham.
Funeral services are 11:00AM, Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Rye Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in Steep Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Friday evening at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife Carla, of the home; two sons, Edward “Ed” Titsworth and his wife Lisa of Springfield, Illinois and Jerry L. England, Jr. and his wife Meagan of Van Buren, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Andrew Weitzel ,Bryce England and Kenna England; two sisters, Kathy Durrance of Tucson, Arizona and Diane Cantrall of Greenfield, Indiana and two brothers, Bob England of Shackleford, Virginia and Denver England of Bedford, Indiana.
Pallbearers are Jerry England, Jr., Ed Titsworth, Bryce England, Bucky Kroger, Doyle Thresher and Thurman Smith.
