Obituary for Charles Overstreet
Charles Overstreet, 80, of Arkoma, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in a local hospital. He was born on February 27, 1939 in Fort Smith to John and Essie Mae (Holmes) Overstreet. He was the owner and operator of Arkoma Beauty Salon. Charles was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carole of the home; one daughter, Tonya Anderson of Kibler, AR; three sons, Greg Overstreet of Puyallup, WA, Van Overstreet of Arkoma, OK and Eric Overstreet of Fort Smith, AR; two sisters, Alva Harrald and June Freeman both of Pocola, OK; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Mr. Overstreet was cremated under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
