Obituary for Bobby Gene West
Bobby Gene West, 62, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on August 6, 2019 in St. Louis, MO. He was a U. S. Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War and a truck driver. Bobby had a passion for making every person he came into contact with laugh. He was born January 24, 1957 in PawPaw, MI to the late Henry and Lavada (Dees) West.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2019 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in U.S. National Cemetery with military honors. Services are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife, Diana West of the home; four daughters, Ericka Pursley and husband Vince of Independence, KS, Kristin West of Van Buren, Ashley West and wife Adina of Van Buren and Theresia Evans of Grove, OK; one son, Nathan Evans of Rudy; grandchildren, Trent and Landon Pursley, Jaydyn and Braxtyn West, Patricia Starr McCabe, Hayden and Emily Darling; two sisters, Lorrie West of Alma and Loretta West of Van Buren; two brothers, Ronnie West of Michigan City, IN nad Mike West of New Buffalo, MI and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Evans, Kaleb Wilkinson, Roger Hall, Vince Pursley, Ronnie Evans and Ashley West.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening, August 8, 2019 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 6r East, Alma, AR.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made the Bobby West Memorial Fund at Arvest Bank.
