Joseph Adrien Herman St Amant, 82, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away with his family in his home on July 28, 2019. He was born on August 11, 1936 in Madawaska, Maine to Eric and Evelyn (Douccette) St. Amant. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and then worked at Rheem Manufacturing as a supervisor for 22 years.
Graveside service will be 10:00AM, Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Yvonne St. Amant of the home; a daughter, Joanna Copland of Orange, CA; four sons, Kenneth St. Amant of Little Rock, AR, Eric St. Amant of Whittier, CA, Travis St. Amant of Fort Smith, AR, and Aaron St. Amant of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one sister, Carleen Mingle of Tampa, Florida and one brother, Louis St. Amant of Durham, North Carolina; six grandchildren and three great -grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
