Obituary for Patricia Jane Powell (Kinser)
Patricia Jane Powell, 85, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 in a local nursing home. She was a retired secretary, a homemaker and a member of Alma Methodist Church. She was born November 15, 1933 in Golden City, MO to the late Orvil and Marie (Howard Kinser. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Onek; one son, Michael Johnston and one sister, Lala Bentlage.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Alma City Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Allen Powell of the home; son, Jeffery Allen Johnston of Cassville, MO; Grandson, Tristan Robert Onek of Memphis, TN; step daughter, Debra Adams of Rockwall, TX; stepson, Allen Powell Jr. and wife Amoria of Gordon, TX; 10 step great grandchildren; 5 nieces; one nephew and numerous step nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Adams, Dwayne King, Breton Hubbard, Tristan Onek, Allen Powell Jr. and Steve Anders.
The family will visit with friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Alma Health and Rehabilitation for their service, compassion and love given to Patricia for the past several years.
