Obituary for William J Heyn
William J. Heyn, 71, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in a local hospital. He was born in Ellaville, Georgia to Clarence and Martha (Spitzer) Heyn on March 10, 1947. William was a former manager at Signal Delivery Trucking Company, a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and a member of First Lutheran Church of Fort Smith.
Graveside memorial service with honors will be 11:00AM, Friday, March 1, 2019 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
He is survived by one daughter, Jessica Montoya of Fort Smith; two sons, Eric Heyn of Little Rock, AR and John Heyn of St. Louis, MO and six grandchildren, Michael and Richard Chioco, Angelina Montoya and Cassandra, Danielle and Dylan Heyn.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
