Obituary for Janette Kay "Jan" Mitchell (Dennis)
Jan Dennis Mitchell, 78, of Pine Bluff passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at home. She was a retired Biology teacher at Watson Chapel High School and a member of First Assembly of God in Pine Bluff. She loved watching her grandsons play baseball and traveling with her brother-in-law and sister-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Chuck” Mitchell, her mother Clarice Sisk, step-father Charles Sisk, father Gene Dennis, Sr., and brother Gene Dennis, Jr.
She is survived by her two daughters Robin Mosley (Cecil), and Denise Colson, Ken, and her son Gerald Mitchell, Jr. (Marla), all of Pine Bluff; her grandchildren Ashley Mitchell, Tommy and Mitchell Mosley, Hunter and Landen Colson; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Mosley, Mitchell Mosley, Tyler-Foster Mosley, Ken Colson, Hunter Colson, and Landen Colson.
Arrangements are being made at Ocker Funeral Home.
