Bernard M. Fimpel, 76 of Van Buren passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 in a local hospital. He retired as a foreman for 15 Years from the Crawford County Highway Department and he was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his parents Martin M. Fimpel and May (Taylor) Fimpel; two sisters Nancy Baker and Betty Speaks; two brothers Charles Fimpel and William Fimple.

Funeral Service will be graveside 1PM, Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Rankin Cemetery in Franklin County under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife Lenora Fimpel of the home; one daughter Belinda K. Allen and husband Matt of Shawnee, Oklahoma; three sons Martin Fimple and wife Teresa of Clarksville, Bruce Fimpel and his companion Melinda Biggerstaff and Donnie Fimpel and wife Lisa all of Van Buren; two sisters Margie Pittman of Barling and Sue Marrow of Texas; twelve grandchildren Amber, Tyler, Christopher, Bruce Jr., Ashyln, Alandra, Deverick, Daegan, Harmony, London, Tier and Timely; nine great- great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Monday, January 7, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas

Pallbearers will be Marty Fimple, Donnie Fimpel, Bruce Fimpel Sr., Matt Allen, Deverick Fimpel, Tyler Fimpel, Daegan Fimpel and Bruce Fimpel, Jr.
