Obituary for Barbara Faye Wilcox (Pixley)
Barbara Faye Wilcox, 77, of Van Buren passed away at her home Friday, December 28, 2018.She was a homemaker and a member of Highway 71 Freewill Baptist Church north of Alma. She was preceded in death by her parents Reverend Gilbert Pixley and Opal Mae (Carney) Pixley.
Funeral service will be 2 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Wilcox of the home; a daughter Lisa McMellon of Fort Smith; three step-daughters Cindy Blasingame, Brenda Chapen, and Paula Reid; a son Lionel Reece Burnett of Fort Smith; four step-sons Ronald Wilcox, Jr., David Wilcox, Gary Wilcox and Paul Wilcox; a sister Donna Kay Nadeau of Concord, New Hampshire; a brother Carlos Pixley; fifteen grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Zachery Burnett, Adam McMellon, Chad Burnett and Levi Reed.
The family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, January, 1, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
