Herman O. Ring, 84 of Van Buren entered his eternal home on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Herman and his wife served in ministry for over 60 years. His passion was imparting and investing into the lives of ministers to help ensure that the invaluable work of the Lord continues from generation to generation. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna (Boling) Ring; parents, Jessie and Elsie (Allen) Ring six brothers and his identical twin brother, Sherman and one sister.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Family Worship Center in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by three daughters, Pamela Davis and husband, Dwight of Fox, Arkansas, Sheila Ring of Mont Belvieu, Texas, Dana Moore and husband, Gary of Van Buren; three sons, Roger Ring of Van Buren, Rev. Terry Ring and wife, Penny of Alma, Rev. Mark Ring and wife, Melissa of Mountain View, Arkansas; one sister, Dorothy Jones of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; eight grandchildren and ten great--grandchildren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, November 2, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Steve Flores, Jarod Ring, Dustin Davis, Blake Ring, Wesley Lewis and Doug McCutcheon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike and Dan Ring.
