Obituary for Don Cristee
Don Cristee, 79 of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in his home. He was retired from Georgia Pacific (Dixie Cup) in Fort Smith. He was an avid bird hunter and ATV rider; He was a mason at the Fine Springs Lodge #439 in Alma, He attended Kibler United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theo and Mary (Jones) Cristee; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Morrison; one brother, Fred Cristee.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Friday, September 14, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Newberry Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Billie (Weese) Cristee of the home; two daughters, Jan Dean of Mountainburg, Anne Cristee of Bentonville; one son, Mike Cristee and wife, Tonja of Mulberry; one sister, Virgina Holleman of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren, Cristee, Brandi, Colt, Brianna, David, Justin and Jennifer; twelve great grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah, Mariah, Cade, Abbey, Hunter, Hagen, Slade, Jackson, Lillie, Wyatt and Ellie.
The family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Brown, Gary Osborne, Dale Osborne, John Testerman, Jeff Testerman, Junior Testerman, John Inge, Lynn Inge, Maurice Inge and grandson, David.
