Edward Dukes, 93, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in his home. He was a retired engineer and land surveyor and he attended the Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Mountainburg. He was born February 17, 1925 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Jess and Laura (DeWitt) Dukes. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Velma Moore Dukes.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Friday, August 17, 2018 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Pope Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Ingwersen and husband Ronald of Van Buren, AR and Karen Butler and husband Larry of Sanger, CA; 6 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren and 4 great- great -grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Darin Cochrum, Zach Chipman, Jimmy Brooks, Charles Brooks, Jimmy Moore and Ron McPhail.

Honorary pallbearers Don Moore and O.J. Moore.
