Obituary for Roy "Dobbin" Osburn

Roy “Dobbin” Osburn, 59, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at his home after an extended battle with cancer. He was the owner of Dobbin’s Place restaurant north of Alma, a former employee of Transco Lines Inc. of Russelleville for 16 years, a 1977 graduate of Mountainburg High School and a member of the Mountainburg Presbyterian Church. He was born October 17, 1958 in Van Buren, AR to Doyle and Annetta Osburn. “Dobbin” was preceded in death by his mother and a son Brian Osburn.
A public service will be held 10:00 A.M Saturday, June 16, 2018 graveside at Conley Cemetery with Reverend Scott Reed officiating under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Diane Osburn of Alma, AR; one daughter, Melissa Cole and husband Jeremy of Berryville, AR; one son, Chase Osburn of Alma, AR; one grandchild, Bella Mae Cole of Berryville, AR and his father, Doyle Osburn of Mountainburg, AR.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny West, Danny Gene Cochran, Tony Sill, Terry Sill, Jeremy Cole and Bobby Thomas.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 15, 2018 at Ocker Chapel of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
The family would like to invite all who wish to come to the home of Doyle Osburn in Mountainburg, after the service on Saturday.
