Barbara Rose Winters, 85, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in a local hospital. She was born on April 20, 1932 in Ranburne, AL to Charles and Grayce (Lindsey) Janes. She was a retired staff secretary for Whirlpool and a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church.
Graveside services are 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She is survived by a daughter, Vicki Hopper and her husband Jim of Fort Smith, AR; a son, Charles Winters and his wife Mary of North Little Rock, AR; a sister, Shirley Bytheway of Lynnwood, WA; five grandchildren, Lindsay Conley, Cory Hopper, Emily Wyonzek and John and Joel Winters and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family will visit with friends from 4-6PM on Monday at the funeral home.
