Bernice Eve Mullen, 92 of Sallisaw passed away in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and attended Oak Ridge Assembly of God in Sallisaw. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Dora (Anglen) Simmons, and seven sisters, Lora, Dorothy, Reva, Norma, Vesta and twin sisters that died at birth.

She is survived by two sons Gary Mullen and his wife Shelly of Sallisaw and Terry Mullen and his wife Lynn of Rudy; one sister Evalena Eoff of Mountainburg; two grandchildren Gary James Mullen and Tammy Gunnels both of Fort Smith; four great-grandchildren Lindsey Rogers of Van Buren, Cody Mullen of Cedarville and Michael Robertson and Mindy Gunnels both of Fort Smith; four great-great grandchildren Jaden, Kasey, Kolby and Brantley.

Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. There will be no formal service held at this time.
