Alverda V. Vaughn, 88, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 in a local nursing home. She was born on February 25, 1929 in South Fork, PA. She was the former district sales manager for Avon. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Willie Vaughn.

Graveside services will be 12:30PM, Friday, August 25, 2017 at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Stevens of Sebastian, FL; a son, Lonnie May of Martinsville, VA; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
