Ella “Jane” Ashley, 73, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 is a local hospital. She was born on March 6, 1941 in DeWitt, Arkansas to Jesse C. and Emma Coleman Rader. She was a retired manager of Lab Corp and was a member of Goddard United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, loved to travel and donated generously too many charities throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her brothers John C., Dutch and Donald Rader.
She is survived by her daughter Cindy Ashley of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 2, 2015 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
The family will visit with friends from 2-4 PM on Sunday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
