Obituary for Nita Kay Cox

Miss Nita Kay Cox, 60, of Fort Smith passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in her home. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, the Bible Study Fellowship, the Prayer Shawl Ministries and the Belle Point Quilters. She loved cooking and sharing recipes with friends on the internet. She was the daughter of the late J.T. & Ruby (Hopkins) Cox.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 16, 2013 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by one uncle, Doyle Hopkins of Lavaca; one aunt, Norma Hopkins of Fort Smith; first cousins, Glen Hopkins, Jr., Janice Powell, Doyle A. Hopkins II, Mona Lee Warmack, Rusti Hice, J.B. Hopkins, Linda Morgan, Jean Byrd and several other cousins.

Pallbearers will be Doyle A. Hopkins II, J.B. Hopkins, Jim Hopkins, Will Hopkins, John Hopkins, Dwight Curry and Tim Hess.
