Obituary for Frank James Stringer
Frank James Stringer, 64 of Van Buren passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 in a local hospital. He was owner/operator of Original Corn Roast food truck and of the Pentecostal Faith. He was preceded in death by his step-father B.O. Smith, his father Leonard Stringer; one sister Marilyn Branham.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife Lisa (McPhail) Stringer of the home; one daughter Vanessa Franklin of Van Buren; four sons James Stringer of Van Buren, Ryan Cowan of Natural Dam, Christian Cowen and Jessie Cowan both of Fort Smith; his mother, Chris (Thomas) Optiz of Van Buren; one sister Phyllis Ray and husband, Scott of Wickes, Arkansas; two brothers, Denton Stringer of Fort Smith, Myron Stringer of Texarkana, Texas; 14 grandchildren Summer, Candace, Landi, Alford, Brandy, Skylar, Kaizer, Zaiden, Michelle, Thomas, Warren, Silas, Johnathon and EverLeigh; three great grandchildren Cortana, Paisley and Riley.
