Lewis W. Thomas, 66 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 in a local hospital. He was the owner/operator of Thomas Construction and Thomas Farms. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Van Buren’s Farmers Markets. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Velma (Sullivent) Thomas.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Theresa Thomas of the home; two daughters Staci Johnson and her husband Michael of Van Buren and Rachel Thomas of Van Buren; two sons Kevin Thomas and his wife Carissa of Republic, Missouri and Brandon Thomas of Van Buren; three sisters Mildred Kibler of Kibler, Robbie McBride and Pat Landers both of Van Buren; five grandsons and four granddaughters.

Funeral service will be 10AM, Wednesday May 23, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and brother-in-laws.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
