Sherman Eugene Creekmore, Jr., 81, of Mountainburg, AR passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Springdale Retirement Center. He had a special love for dogs and cats, collected old cars, and was an umpire for the Mountainburg High School Baseball Teams. He was born April 1, 1936 to the late Sherman Creekmore, Sr. and Deltha Schultz Creekmore. Also preceded in death by a sister, Norene Cates.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 15, 2018 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with cremation to follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his sister, Margaret Nolan of Fort Smith, AR; two nieces, Lexie McClain of Morgan Hill, CA and Ruth Ogle of Alma, AR and several cousins.
The family will visit with friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 before the service.
