Charles H. McCurdy, 76 of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in a local hospital. He was a forklift driver for Gerber in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion McCurdy; and mother and father, Toy Charles and Emma (Biggerstaff) McCurdy; two sisters, Wanda Smith and Pauline Ballard; two brothers, Willie and Norman McCurdy.

Graveside service will be at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) Monday, June 26, 2017 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by one son, Charles McCurdy and wife, Christian of Muldrow; one grandchild, Evan McCurdy of Muldrow; his girlfriend, Ruth Robbins of Van Buren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.
