Carolyn June Battles, 69, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Concord Baptist Church. She was born February 8, 1948 in Gideon, Missouri to the late Morrell and Gladys (Burt) Pavy. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Cole Michael Greenfield and a brother, Dwight Pavy.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Survivors are her husband, Bill Battles of the home; two daughters, Lisa McAlister and husband Darby of Alma and Jennifer Battles and Fiancee' Tim Kaelin of Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma; one son, Clifton Battles and wife JoLynn of Greenwood; three brothers Allen Pavy and wife Theresa, Phillilp Stephens and wife Pat and Harvey Coram all of Alma, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Jake Greenfield, Jacy McAlister, Aubrey Payne, Garret Payne, Colton Battles, Drew Battles and Jori Battles; 3 great-grandchildren, Jett Greenfield, Jax Chambers and Kaeson Sprinkle.

The family will visit with relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening April 11, 2017 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy, 64 East, Alma, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Jake Greenfield, Gary Medlock, Dennis Cole, Tim Kaelin, Darby McAlister and Justin Pavy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Greer, Terry Fimple, Terry Oliver, Wayne Shibley, Frank Hayes, Paul Cooper, David LeClercq, J.D. Van Matre and Ron Peters.
