Linda Meadors, of Alma, AR, passed away from this life to the next one on March 24, 2017 at the age of 71, but her immeasurable kindness and loving nature will never be forgotten.
Linda had many, varied interests from weeks long hunting trips in Colorado with her beloved husband of 53 years, Nick, to extensive traveling all over the world. Her "Country Girl" roots served her well as she was an excellent cook and baker, responsible for many elaborate birthday cakes, she was a gifted seamstress, could arrange flowers for any occasion and was just as comfortable helping to cut a load of firewood for winter. Above all else, Linda was a genuinely good person. A general consensus among the family members, is that we won the lottery to have Linda as a spouse, mother, mamaw, sister, cousin, daughter-in-law, friend….
She is survived by her husband, Nick Meadors, sons Wade Meadors (Peter Cunningham), Brett Meadors (Mary Jo Meadors), daughter, Angela Meadors-McClish, grandson, Logan Meadors, granddaughter, Kylie Meadors, brothers Richard Hicks (Sandy), Jimmy Hicks (Kerry), Dennis Brammer (Stephany), Sisters, Patricia Willis, Carol Webb (Larry), mother-in-law, Ruth Meadors, brother-in-law Mike Meadors (Pat), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service in honor of Linda will be held at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Alma Healthcare and Rehabilitation and Peachtree Hospice for all the love and attention that made Linda's last days on this earth as good and comfortable as possible.
